Opening reception: Thursday, Sept. 7, 7-10pm

Day & Night Projects is proud to present Atlanta artist Heather Deyling’s latest exhibition, Eco-fictions. Deyling's installation transforms the gallery into a mysterious wonderland of strangely familiar organic forms, consisting primarily of soft sculpture. This speculative future of Deyling’s invasive flora, evolving fungi, and synthetic fauna merge into new possibilities and speculative fictions—prompting viewers to consider their own origins and the circumstances in which they themselves have developed.
Eco-fictions will open with a free, public reception on Thursday, September 7, 7–10pm. Viewing hours are Fridays and Saturdays,12–5pm, or by appointment.
This project was funded (in-part) through a Savannah College of Art and Design Presidential Fellowship for Faculty Development.
